With more than 120 performances and more than a thousand artists involved, Ravenna Festival transforms the city and its territory into a wonderful stage, this year suspended between flesh and heaven, according to the title of this 33rd edition dedicated to Pier Paolo Pasolini on the centenary of his birth. The words with which Pasolini described his momentous encounter with Bach’s music draws a not only musical itinerary that from 1 June to 21 July unfolds between Ravenna, Cervia, Lugo, and Russi. While tickets are already available for the concerts of Ludovico Einaudi (preview on 25 May) and La Rappresentante di Lista (17 July), on Monday 28 March, at 10 a.m., pre-sales open for all the events in the summer programme. Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Office of the Theatre, by phone (+39 0544 249244), online (ravennafestival.org), at the branches of La Cassa di Ravenna Spa, and the Tourist Info-Point in Ravenna and Cervia. The renewed formula of the Carnet Open, starting from a minimum of four events of your choice, offers a 15% discount on tickets.

“”It’s time to say welcome back to normality – comments Antonio De Rosa, the Festival’s General Manager – even if, speaking of the Festival, perhaps it would be better to speak of extraordinary normality: after two years in which we have had to invest energy, skills, and creativity to safeguard the work of many people, on stage and behind the scenes, the Festival is once again embracing the practices that have made it, to all intents and purposes, a Festival of the city and for the city. In addition to the concerts in the Byzantine basilicas, the events at the Pala De André are also back, with a new ‘flexible’ set-up that can be adapte to every need. And, aware of how much the trust and participation of the audiences has been fundamental in facing the challenges of the pandemic, we invite young people to discover and rediscover the excitement of live performances by joining our initiatives, which this year, in addition to the 5 Euro tickets for the under 18s, include a 50% discount for the under 30s applied to all tickets over 20 Euro”.
