Once again, it’s time for Les Étoiles, the international ballet gala launched in 2015 that has established itself as a privileged observatory for the brightest stars of the moment. The programme offers a journey through the eras of classical ballet to the present day: from the cornerstones of the 19th century and the neoclassical repertoire to the sophisticated pas de deux and solos of modern ballet. They will be interpreted by an exceptional cast from the world’s leading theatres: dancers whose virtuoso flights and pointe work challenge the laws of gravity and balance, in a show that offers the rare opportunity to see them all on the same stage. In addition to Eleonora Abbagnato, the protagonists of this edition include many Italian stars from the most prestigious international companies.
*Leroy Mokgatle has been replaced by Ana Sophia Scheller (former principal of the New York City Ballet)
