Involving a variety of performing arts – drama, music, dance, painting – the students of the local High School for the Arts will stage a fictional encounter between Naples-born Baroque poet Giovan Battista Marino, who visited Ravenna in 1606, and Dante Alighieri, who had influenced his Adonis: a dialogue between two poets but also between two centuries – the XIV and the XVII – exploring the history of the city through the echo of immortal verses.
