Singer-songwriter, composer, saxophonist and much more: Enzo Avitabile is one of the most eclectic and prolific witnesses to a period when Italian music gained international recognition by asserting its uniqueness. While working on the finest albums by Pino Daniele and Edoardo Bennato, Avitabile also launched his solo career. He delved deeply into the fundamentals of Italian folk and the soul-jazz repertoire, ranging from tributes to Charlie Parker to collaborations with Afrika Bambaataa within a boundless creative landscape. His concert will fit perfectly with the open-air sculpture gallery that Giorgio Zanniboni has created on the left bank of the Bidente river, where art blends with nature in a unique, spectacular setting.
