Born in 2000, Emma Nolde is one of the most original voices on the new Italian singer-songwriter scene. A representative of her generation of young adults, she shares her dreams, aspirations and personal feelings, offering a glimpse into her private life. She has pursued a strictly independent career, occasionally venturing beyond the realm of pop — for instance, by reinterpreting timeless blues classics with the brass band of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna. Her latest album, Nuovospaziotempo, explores the uncertain ground of a youthful sensibility striving to be the protagonist of its own epic despite lacking all external support. This urgency is evident in the single “Indipendente”, an intense declaration of the need for immediate change.
