One morning, Young Miss W wakes up and realises she is just half of what she used to be, a mere “V”: all her loved ones, memories and favourite things are gone, including her grandpa, Wilfredo, her boyfriend, Wolmer, her best friend, Wilma, her childhood rabbit, Walter, and many other “Ws” who could have helped her become a happy, contented woman. And so, she sets out to find the missing pieces, especially the “V” that can make her whole again — Miss W, despite her weaknesses. In her directorial debut, Ambra Angiolini revisits this deeply moving work by the brilliant, multi-talented author Stefano Benni, who passed away last year. The play has been transformed into an immersive tragicomedy — a funny yet bitter “group soliloquy” dedicated «to all those people who do not want to die, but do not know how to live».
