The Orchestra of the Magnificat Institute was founded in Jerusalem, a city of stones and sky, where stories, faiths and hopes converge every day. These young musicians use their instruments to express what words cannot. Intertwined with Fra Alberto Pari’s testimony, their music shares the dream of art as a message of peace. The programme features nostalgic pieces ranging from the tender Christmas music of Corelli and the poignant Hebrew Melody to the Middle Eastern lyricism of Habaytak Bel Saif and the noble serenity of Elgar. This is music that resonates, caresses, opens up and transforms. The invitation reads: “Let yourselves be carried away by a harmony stemming from a sense of connection, which gently leads us towards a more compassionate tomorrow.”
