Is it still possible to discuss spirituality in the age of AI? Can technology respond to the most radical aspects of Franciscan thought? Luca Maria Baldini, an artist who thrives at the intersection of different codes and registers, provides an answer where sound, images and space interact in an original dramaturgy. Here, the writings of St Francis and St Clare are reinterpreted through the lens of today’s pressing issues: the relationship between political action and environmental crisis, human and non-human, and ultimately, spirituality and technology. The soundtrack ranges from Gregorian chants to field recordings, live electronics, artificial voices and pop interludes. These are “filtered” by AI, used to rework and shift meaning, generate fractures and connections, and create new interpretative trajectories.
