After so many months of virtual concerts, music returns to physicality, and music-making becomes deeply rooted in the city itself, thanks to the institutions devoted to its promotion, but also to the human empathy that radiates from the voices of the Ukrainian Choir. So, on one side are the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali &#8220;G. Verdi&#8221;\u2014the school that has been forming generations of local musicians for several decades now; and the Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra\u2014 that trains young musicians to launch their professional careers. On the other are the musicians the city welcomes in these tragic weeks of war. This small but precious programme features voices and instruments alternating in the name of study and passion. 1-Euro tickets for all the events.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><a style=\"color: #800080;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ravennafestival.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Pieghevole-Concerti-delle-7-2.pdf\"><strong>&gt; Discover the complete programme<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>From 3 June to 20 July, the <strong>Choir of the National Opera Theatre of Ukraine &#8220;Taras Shevchenko&#8221;<\/strong> perform along an itinerary of sixteen concerts, mostly divided between the auditorium of San Romualdo and the cloister of the National Museum, and to the inclusion of two events in the city&#8217;s basilica &#8211; in San Giovanni Evangelista for Ukrainian sacred music and in San Francesco, together with its Cappella Musicale, within the\u00a0<em>Musica e Spirito<\/em> festival. The programmes range from folk songs to opera pieces, alternating between Ukrainian and Italian repertoires.<\/p>\n<p>The winds of the <strong>Cherubini Orchestra<\/strong> reach Palazzo Monsignani in Imola, on Thursday 16 June, for an all-Mozart programme, whereas the auditorium of San Romualdo hosts a bassoon-cello duo (Sunday 26 June) and a brass ensemble (Sunday 31 July).<\/p>\n<p>From 22 to 24 June and from 29 June to 1 July, at 7 pm in the Cortile Polo delle Arti (Piazza Kennedy), it is time for\u00a0<strong><em>Eclettica<\/em><\/strong>: six concerts see\u00a0the students of the Master of 2nd Level in Singing &#8211; 20th century and Contemporary Vocal Music and Musical Theatre of the teacher Alda Caiello tackle cabaret, folk, and art songs.
