When classical music meets the most attractive forms of communication, there come the “virtuózok”. The most innovative and unpredictable of talent shows has got nothing to do with kitchen tables, notes, voices or trendy songs: it stages the best talents in classical music. The format, which relies on the collaboration of the prestigious Liszt Academy Budapest and on a panel of stars in the jury, has been a hit on Hungarian TV for a couple of years, and is requested by international TV giants. As a prelude to the Danubian trilogy, the young virtuosos will perform at the Alighieri with a historical orchestra conducted by Hungary’s international star, Támas Vásáry. But there’s one more surprise: the presenter (and star) of the “gala” will be soprano Eva Lind, who shared the stage with the great, Pavarotti to Domingo.
